UPDATE: Welcome to Tony's new website. We're constantly updating and upgrading, so bear with us as we get the new music onto the pages. It's been a while since you've seen or heard from Tony, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been busy. Much has changed in the industry, and much has changed with Tony's career since the end of 2007.
As '07 opened up, Tony's long time affiliation with George Strait's company as a staff writer came to a close. Although he left on good terms, according to Tony, it was a bitter sweet end for both Eddie Tidwell (Tony's creative director for seven of the nine years he held his position there), and the rest of the staff at George's management and publishing company...
"We had a great run together," Tony said, "but it was time for both of us to move on to bigger and better things."

And indeed Tony did just that. At the end of 2007, he struck up a co-publishing venture with Cherry Lane Nashville, whose parent company is located in New York. He is now writing songs for himself (Fast Horse Publishing), and a powerhouse company, whose founder and owner, Milt Okun, was recently honored by the Songwriter's Hall of Fame with a liftetime achievement award in the music publishing industry...
